Why and How...
The minimalist design of the Wabi Wallet encourages the owner to recognize what is useful and navigate the world with no more than is necessary. It also discourages the accumulation of clutter.
Wabi Wallet is made out of uncoated copper. This means that the surface will react with the owner's unique body chemistry and patterns of usage, resulting in the development of a patina that will give each Wabi Wallet a distinct personality.
The purist may choose to let their Wabi Wallet age naturally, while the more creative may see nothing unnatural about taking a more active hand. For instance, while waiting for the waiter to return with the check, one might use readily available acidic condiments such as lemon juice or vinegar to "draw" on the wallet. The acids clean off the patina that has formed, and it can also be interesting to watch as these sections age, maybe even to be layered with fresh designs.
Classic Wabi Wallet usage entails selecting a few key card-like items (driver's liscense, a debit or credit card, and/or some of your own business cards spring to mind) and wrapping your cash around them mindfully, then sliding the whole package into the wallet. If the wallet is a little too tight, it can be gently stretched wider. If the wallet is a bit too loose, remove the contents, find a robust hardcover book, open to the center, place the wallet inside with the spine toward the spine of the book, and press the book shut around the wallet.
